Established in 2007, Crain’s Manchester Business is a new branch of the esteemed publishing corporation Crain Communications which was founded in Kentucky in 1916. Crain Communications produces over 30 trade periodicals and websites and has grown to become one of the leading privately-owned business publishers on the planet, employing more than 1,000 staff in 19 locations worldwide. Crain is currently run by company president Rance E. Crain and chairman of the board Keith Crain, with Chris Crain heading up the Manchester Business newspaper as Editor-in-Chief.
