theEword helped to launch its client BOGOF Bingo with a viral campaign featuring none other than Britain's Got Talent star DJ Talent.
Using Twitter, YouTube and other social networking and media sharing sites, we transmitted a promo clip produced by Manchester creative agency Unit Communications to thousands of fans over a month-long period. The video picked up hundreds of comments online in the places it was hosted, ranging from amusement to bemusement at the gold toothed rapper's involvement.
The DJ Talent bingo Twitter feed, which theEword set up and managed, was also a hit, with followers and tweets stacking up off the back of its star's appearance on the hit ITV talent show.
The campaign was one of theEword's first major forays into social media marketing, alongside work for our mobile gaming client Million-2-1, featuring one of their most recognisable properties – the Rainbow Riches leprechaun – in a hilarious ghost Twitter account.
Both campaigns brought in thousands of clicks for their respective sites and led to theEword pursuing social media as a form of marketing in new and interesting ways.
