DJ Talent launches bingo website with a little help from theEword

Online bingo website BOGOF Bingo has announced its arrival with the launch of a new advert featuring Britain's Got Talent star DJ Talent.

The advert is being marketed by Manchester-based digital agency theEword, who have used a blended strategy combining SEO and social and viral marketing to publicise the campaign online.

MySpace and Twitter pages have been set up to promote the clip, which has also been shared on a number of video sites including YouTube, as part of the campaign.

theEword has already managed to give the advert considerable exposure in search engine listings.

From a standing start, the company has taken keyword terms relating to the video to top positions on Google, after content based on the advert – including a biography of DJ Talent and a web page dedicated to his ‘greatest hits' – was produced by theEword and published online.

The ad, made by Manchester-based agency Unit Communications, hit television screens this week and looks set to ride the popularity of DJ Talent's trademark call-and-response rapping style, made famous on the TV talent show.

In it, the Beckenham rapper is shown bathed in gold, performing a new version of the song that propelled him to Britain's Got Talent notoriety.

"I say BOGOF, you say bingo," goes the chorus, echoing the rap that he performed on the show.

theEword won the contract to provide SEO services for BOGOF Bingo after impressing with its track record of running marketing campaigns in the online gaming field for clients including Manchester-based provider of online casino games Million-2-1.

As well as success with the DJ Talent advert, theEword has already made notable gains on the online bingo site's top keywords.
