The rate of expansion shows no signs of slowing at theEword as it celebrates being shortlisted for a prestigious award.
Since the start of 2011, five new employees have joined the Manchester specialist search agency on a full-time basis. Navdeep Singh Playa (pictured) brings his considerable web coding expertise to the position of junior developer. Matt Lawson and Bilal Alam have been recruited into the marketing department to assist with the delivery of SEO, PPC and mobile campaigns. Meanwhile, Nicola Hughes becomes the latest graduate to join us from the Manchester Masters scheme and Alice Pettigrew has been hired from Creative Break as an office apprentice. Heading in the opposite direction, Rachel Shillcock is leaving after spending more than a year as theEword's junior designer.
In other news, theEword is celebrating after being shortlisted with six other agencies in the SEO & PPC Agency category, sponsored by NatWest, at the How-Do Awards 2011. The winner will be announced on Thursday, 26 May at the fourth annual How-Do Awards dinner event, which the organisers describe as "the single biggest gathering of media and marketing services folk in the North West during the course of 2011".
Al Mackin, managing director of theEword, said: "At the start of the year, due to growth and new client wins, we realised we needed to add to our team of passionate experts in order to continue providing high-quality SEO, PPC and mobile marketing solutions. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of candidates that we've attracted. And I'm sure our How-Do Awards shortlisting will be the catalyst for an even more successful period to come."
