Twitter introduces follower lists


Twitter trials new list feature

Micro-blogging website Twitter is trialling a feature which allows users to quickly recommended groups of individuals to other members.

Social media news website Mashable reported the new function would give account holders the chance to create a selection of user lists, offering other members the opportunity to easily ‘follow’ a number of individuals at once.

Adam Ostrow, the editor-in-chief at Mashable described how the new application would work:

“Twitter appears to be in the midst of rolling out its new ‘Lists’ feature that allows users to create a list of people that others can follow with one-click.
