Introducing Twitter Local Trends

Twitter marketers can finally get hot topics for their area after the global rollout of Local Trends.

Users who log onto their Twitter accounts today are encountering a popup box that invites them to set their location. They can choose to keep the worldwide trending topics or select one of six countries
