The UK's favourite videos

Video sharing website YouTube has revealed its ten most popular clips in the UK during 2011, which include a 'talking' dog being teased about food, a spoof Royal Wedding scene and a Charlie Sheen compilation.

The last year has seen up to 48 hours of content uploaded every minute to the popular website, which is owned by search giant Google.

The UK's top ten videos list takes the following form, including global figures recorded today:

  2. The T-Mobile Royal Wedding

It is based on a 2009 YouTube hit named JK Wedding Entrance Dance, which depicted the unusual opening to a real-life ceremony.

  3. Songify This - Winning - A Song By Charlie Sheen

  9. Talking Twin Babies
    Global views: 9.1m
A pair of babies have a conversation while being filmed at home.

  10. Asdfmovie - TomSka

Daniel Nolan, managing director of theEword, said: "Popularity-based lists often feature a few surprises - and this one is a typical example.

"Many people may have expected to see the Richmond Park exploits of deer-chasing dog Fenton (aka Benton) in this list, rather than an animated cat flying along to a bizarre pop song, but sometimes what's popular online doesn't necessarily make news headlines."

The winner: Ultimate Dog Tease
