My current role is focused on making theEword a more profitable business, and I also handle processes internally to ensure campaigns run seamlessly. My day-to-day tasks vary quite a lot. I also get involved in the networking side of the business, where I attend events to meet new people and tell them about theEword.
I really enjoy working with the business development and marketing teams, because it’s exciting to help secure new business, and it’s a pleasure to promote the great work we do as a company.
When I joined theEword in 2013 I had no experience whatsoever in digital marketing. Now I’m able to explain to clients and prospects exactly what we do and how we do it. I’ve also passed the Google AdWords exam.
Before I started here I went to university and then became a full-time member of the New Look team in the flagship Manchester Arndale store. I soon became a supervisor and six months later was promoted to the Sales Manager position. I worked there for a total of seven years (including part-time whilst I was studying). theEword is the only other company I’ve ever worked for.
Outside of work hours I like going to the gym, eating out and socialising.
