More theEword Staff

Bilal Alam is an account manager at theEword, a role in which he takes charge of client SEO campaigns and acts as a point of contact throughout the process. By meeting with clients on a regular basis, Bilal ensures all issues are managed promptly and efficiently.

He is also in charge of coordinating new client campaigns and ensuring each task is allocated to a team member at theEword. He creates detailed documents listing all the areas that must be covered in each campaign, ensuring everything is completed and on schedule.

Bilal also keeps track of all client communication throughout the office to ensure everyone is updated by theEword regularly on the progress of their campaign. He is key to our client communication ethos, pushing for excellent customer service and monitoring the team's performance.

He joined the company in January 2011 as an online marketing assistant, where he was responsible for link building and general marketing tasks, as well as reporting back to clients on the success of our campaigns on a daily basis.

What Bilal most enjoys about his role at theEword is the quantity and variety of clients. Every day is different, and he thrives in the busy, fast-paced environment.

Before joining theEword, Bilal worked for a hospitality recruitment firm in the Middle East. This role involved sourcing and interviewing prospective candidates, as well as marketing work through social media platforms. He obtained a BA in Business from Manchester Metropolitan University, cultivating a passion for marketing that has blossomed ever since he took part in a Young Enterprise scheme in the sixth form.

Aside from digital marketing, Bilal's main passions are cookery and television. He had the opportunity to combine the two recently, appearing on This Morning cooking alongside Gino D'Campo.
