More theEword Staff

Jennifer Leonard is an online marketing assistant at theEword. Her day-to-day tasks include link building and using Google applications to complete traffic reports that are sent to theEword's clients. She also supports other members of the team in their online marketing duties.

Before joining theEword, Jennifer worked as an administrator and social media specialist at an events services agency in Didsbury. This included managing and monitoring the company's social media accounts, managing the website venue database, and contributing to the company blog. In this capacity she was also responsible for planning and implementing online and email marketing campaigns.

Jennifer also gained valuable experience with internships in both the marketing and creative teams of the Urbis exhibition centre - one of Manchester's top cultural attractions. Her hard work during both internships was rewarded with a full-time position at the core of the team. She has also honed her skills by volunteering with the Family Friendly Film Festival and Abandon Normal Devices digital arts festival, working on research and marketing.

Currently working towards a CIM award in Digital Marketing, Jennifer originally studied Graphic Arts and Design at Leeds Metropolitan University. There, she specialised in Illustration, which is also one of her preferred pastimes. As well as maintaining her own blog and website, she has had work published in international magazines in Argentina, Australia and Italy. When not illustrating, Jenny enjoys cycling, sewing and crafts.
