Kleon came to theEword in order to nurture relationships with clients and explore new business opportunities. Being our Business Development Director allows him to combine his knowledge of digital marketing with his love of presenting and networking. Kleon’s previous experience ranges from work with a Fortune Top 100 company to self-employed business ventures.

Kleon’s role at theEword is to represent the company at networking and industry events, as well as work closely with new and prospective clients to ensure their needs are being met. He has also been instrumental in setting up our free SEO training sessions, which give clients and local businesses an insight into what we do and why.

Before joining theEword, Kleon worked in a pro-active role at Apple, delivering seminars and training on Apple’s revolutionary new products. His passion for technology worked hand in hand with his ability to train key Apple customers. His skills were further developed during a stint working as an independent contractor in America. The venture involved marketing and selling educational materials, which due to his energy and dedication resulted in a solid ROI.

Prior to this Kleon worked towards his BA Honours degree in Digital Marketing and Communications at MMU Business School. However, his love of online marketing began much earlier, with a rewarding internship at an international theatre company. This position saw him collaborating on projects ranging from working with press to online brand building.

Kleon’s passion for the industry even extends to his spare time; he regularly attends conferences and events, and is an avid reader of business and technology publications.
