More theEword Staff
Lauren Knowles joined theEword as a content writer, having gained experience in copywriting and achieved a degree in English Literature. She writes news, blogs and fixed content for a range of clients.
Lauren began gaining writing experience during college as she regularly contributed articles to the monthly magazine. Prior to joining theEword, Lauren had been working as a freelance copywriter in order to hone her commercial writing skills. She regularly wrote online pieces for travel and holiday websites.
Lauren chose to base her further education on her passion for the written word and has recently finished her degree in English Literature at the University of Sheffield. The extensive core reading lists enabled Lauren to amass great knowledge about the craft of writing. Her studies also helped to develop her own skills as she wrote blogs, presentation pieces and lengthy essays throughout her studies.
Three years of studying literature has intensified Lauren's desire to read. She enjoys reading an array of different books, ranging from classics to the latest trashy novel. She also tries to attend at least one music festival each year as this combines her love of music, socialising and travelling.
