Mark Baker is Online Marketing Manager at theEword, responsible for overseeing our PPC and SEO projects as well as reporting back to clients. Mark is an IDM-certified digital marketer with over 7 years' experience in e-commerce and online marketing.

Mark is responsible for the management of our PPC accounts and SEO campaigns. This comprises of over 20 clients, with a spend ranging from 1,000 pounds to 30,000 pounds pcm. Mark prides himself on his hands-on management of key online and mobile PPC accounts; this entails overseeing all campaign strategy and development, and providing research, analysis and insight to ensure success.

During Mark's time at the agency, the marketing team has quadrupled in size, so training and running the team is also a crucial part of Mark's day-to-day role. The team is committed to reporting on the success of SEO and PPC campaigns - both to clients and internally - which Mark ensures is accurate and timely. It is also often necessary for him to brief work to other departments and co-operate to build the best strategy.

As well as being CertDigM-qualified by the Institute of Direct Marketing, Mark is a Microsoft adExcellence Member. He has also become a qualified individual in AdWords and Analytics, and regularly builds on his knowledge with seminars and training. However, Mark's passion for digital marketing, SEO, PPC and mobile began with a BSc in Multimedia and Information Technology.

Before theEword, Mark worked for several large retail brands including Additions Direct, Great Universal and Kays, where he oversaw increases in conversion rates and direct retail sales increases of around 30 per cent.
