Natalie Booth is head of search at theEword. She is in charge of overseeing an ever-growing marketing team, which carries out SEO and PPC projects for clients. Natalie is involved at each stage of client projects, representing the company at meetings and often acting as the primary point of contact.
Her day-to-day role includes keeping track of client campaigns by monitoring traffic, performance and conversion for each site, which gives her the opportunity to use her extensive knowledge of Google Analytics.
Natalie also advises the account management team on client liaison matters to ensure communication runs smoothly and client expectations are met.
She has been part of theEword marketing team since 2010, when she joined as an online marketing assistant. After passing her Google Analytics qualifications in April 2011, Natalie was promoted to account manager. In this role she managed the SEO campaigns for some key clients, communicating with them face to face and over the phone.
She then progressed to assistant marketing manager in February 2012, before taking up her current role in June 2012.
Natalie joined theEword after gaining three years' marketing experience in Manchester. Her previous roles, which included working in-house for some of the region's largest companies, saw Natalie amass an impressive knowledge of the digital market.
Her enthusiasm for online marketing centres on her love of statistics. When asked about the source of this fondness, she replied: "I like analysing the progress of a campaign."
Away from facts and figures, Natalie has a strong interest in personal fitness, and likes nothing more than going to the gym. She earned a black belt in karate some years ago, having practised the sport since she was a child.
