More theEword Staff
Rachel joined theEword after completing a Business Administration and Marketing degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, where her core modules included electronic relationship management and digital marketing, marketing communications and marketing law. Her previous work experience includes managerial positions in busy, high-stress environments throughout Manchester.
Rachel also completed three months work experience as a credit controller at Ex-Or Lighting Management Systems in Haydock and also has many years under her belt as an emergency room volunteer in her homeland of California.
The move from California to England was a decision based on Rachel’s love for her family and desire to travel around Europe. As her parents are originally from Warrington, Rachel had travelled to England at various points in her childhood to visit her extended family and fell in love with the country early on in life. In 2005, she packed her life into a few suitcases and moved to England from where she has launched and enjoyed various trips to Europe, including a two-week road trip through France, Italy and Switzerland.
When she isn't travelling, Rachel does enjoy, on the rare occasion, the odd bit of rock climbing, hiking or mountain biking adventure. But her real joy in life lies in catching up with friends (both at home and away) and watching any romantic comedy she can get her hands on. Speaking of romance, Rachel recently married Dave, her partner of many years, at a ceremony with family, friends and colleagues from theEword.
