Tom Mason has five years' experience in media and has worked for a range of regional magazines, covering numerous subjects from lifestyle features to celebrity interviews. His portfolio includes features in The Big Issue, YQ Magazine and Hotline - the official Virgin Trains magazine. More recently, Tom was deputy editor at Manchester-based publication The Magazine.
Tom is the articulate and ambitious product of Wolverhampton Grammar School. He furthered his raw talent and aptitude for crafting words with a 2:1 degree in English Language and Literature at Manchester University. He now resides in Didsbury where indulges his love of European coffee in the suburb's finest Bohemian eateries.
Tom maintains a strong interest in American politics - his favourite television serial drama is the West Wing - and has been fortunate to enjoy press trips to the States, most recently to Texas. Although the winter gives Tom a voracious appetite to work on his current novel, he's been known to dabble in keep-fit, with long runs around Didsbury's leafy lanes during the summer. Tom maintains a year-long appreciation of the Amber Nectar.
