On the average working day I’ll be designing and building something – whether it’s a client website, marketing collateral (such as display banners and infographics), visuals for our CRO team’s page experiments, or something for an internal project. I also look after company brand guidelines.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
What I enjoy most about working at theEword is that it’s with people I am happy to call my friends. It’s also great to see results of the effort you put in, especially when you’ve pushed your limits and had to master something new.
Since I started here I’ve become an expert on the design and construction of WordPress websites, and also have a deep knowledge of Adobe software.
Before theEword I studied Graphic Design at the University of Salford, then after I graduated I did placements at a couple of agencies – where I developed my understanding of the industry and built on the skills and abilities I gained during my studies. I landed my job here not long after.
My non-work interests are photography (I’ve done two courses so far and am looking to do a course on studio photography to expand my skills in a controlled environment), going to the cinema (Marvel films are my favourite ones to watch), and playing video games (I’ve been a PlayStation fan since the first one came out).
